Up or out: How then shall we build our city?

City planners have a tough decision on best to prepare our city for the future. If we remain clustered, we will have to consider building up, which can potentially ruin views and landscape. If we build out, we need to expand infrastructure, traffic access and consider emergency routes. Land use is a monumental subject and decisions regarding it will impact Ashland for many years to come. So what's your idea of what Ashland could be in 20-30 years?
