Wow, Dave, I feel your pain! Have you had any luck yet? If not it's probably just because gardeners who'd be delighted to help you (and get your expertise in return) haven't heard of you. Have you looked into community gardens? I don't know if there's one in Talent but there's at least one in Ashland for residents. I'd be surprised if you couldn't find some kind of situation like that... And then there are small family farms around the Talent area; maybe you could talk it up with some of the vendors in the growers' markets and work something out with one of them.
