Is there going to be another Poetry Slam soon? That would be awesome.

For anybody that doesn't know about this, there is a monthly poetry open mike at the Downtowne Coffee House in Talent. Second Thursday of the month, starts at 7:00p. Bring a few poems, meet a few poets, have a fab cup of coffee.
OSF guest artist Abiodun Oyewole will be performing with Adebisi Adeleke Wednesday June 10 in The Green Show. Abiodun Oyewole is a legendary figure and founding member of The Last Poets.
Last night he was featured at an open mike at the Stillwater. Did anyone go to that? I'd love to hear about it. I hope the Stillwater has more poetry events. It seems like a great venue for open mikes and slams.
