Impressiv rain-shaddoe. While Grants Gass, tue the west, got almost 2", my location in the BCV got less than 1/2". SW floe duing the trick agen. I actually got more rain with the ESE wind bloing 2 dayz ago than I did tueday with a calm wind. It's also interesiing tue hav it this cold with the wether cumming out ov the SW. That's probably cauz the jet streem iz in SoCal.
Despite the wind(over 30mph) I got decent rain - 0.64". It happenz, tho not verry offen. I mite hav sumthing tue due with temperatur. This wind wuz cold and probably dusn't warm and dry the air like it normally duz. Most ov the storm wuz tue the South - we kinda got brusht.
Actually had an hour ov steddy rain - 0500 to 0600 hrs - not the usual five minnits on 15 minnits off or wind-bloen drizzel ov the last fyew weeks. Total -0.55" wuz a littel disappointing, howevver. Still waiting for that real serius soaking like in Oct.
I gess the NWS duzn't look at thair own satellite fotos. They claimd we wur gonna get hit by a "Pineappel Express". The streem ov cloudz wuz hedding north but they sed it wuz gonna start raining hard last nite. Insted, we got the ragged bottom edj. I got 0.20 so far(in 8 hourz) - hardly a downpore. The last time a real 'Pinapple Express" hit here wuz Dec-Jan 1998 and it produste the ownly flud in the 32+ yeerz I'v bin here. Maybe it'l start tue moov south but it's going north rite now.
