Looking For a Writing Mentor

Hello, my name is Haley. I am an 8th grader at the Siskiyou School. In order to complete our final year, we are required to choose a project to dedicate time and effort towards. For my project I want to do writing; I'd like to experiment with stories, poems and songs. Everyone is required to have a mentor for their project. I am looking for writers who are willing to give the gift of knowledge and time to an excited 13 year-old who loves to write. I would love to help! I a writer and editor (I also teach Creative Writing at the OLLI center at SOU and run the Rogue Writer Group of Southern Oregon). I have been thinking for a long time about starting a writers group for teens, as my son, also thirteen, loves to write as well. Kudos to you for being so ambitious!
