So this is the first recipe I have tried from my new Ani Phyo book (which I LOVE).

This is the 2nd recipe I have made with my new food dehydrator! :)

Sun Burgers:

2 stalks celery, chopped, about 3/4 cup
1/4 cup yellow onion, chopped
1/2 cup red bell peppers, chopped
1 teaspoon sea salt
2 teaspoons oregano, fresh or dried
1 cup sunflower seeds, ground
1/2 cup flax seeds, ground
1/2 cup water

To make burgers: Place celery, onion, bell peppers, salt, oregano, sunflower seeds, and flax seeds in a bowl, adding water last. Mix well. Form four balls and flatten into burger patties. Dehydrate burgers for three hours at 104 degrees.
 - I ended up flipping my burgers over and dehydrating them on the other side for an additional hour.

I have candles lit, because my big light in my kitchen went out and I need to get to the store to get the replacement bulb. Haha. Looks like I'm bringing back raw food spirits from the dead!

Black Sesame Sunflower Bread:

1 cup ground flax seeds
1/3 cup whole flax seeds
1/2 teaspoon, sea salt
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tablespoons yellow onion, chopped
1 1/3 cup water
2/3 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup black sesame seeds

Mix ground and whole flax seeds, salt, garlic, onion, and water. Add sunflower and sesame seeds and mix well.

Use the back of a spoon to spread batter evenly on one dehydrator tray. Dry at 104 degrees for 4 hours. Flip and score bread into nine slices to make it easy to break in straight lines. Dehydrate another hour before serving.
