It's street music season again! The green lady blows her flute, the Ask the Poet poet is available for the asking. The tightrope walkers are toeing their lines in Triangle Park, that big old bass following the baggy-trousered banjo player's heading for the wide sidewalk at the Standing Stone.
New this year are Living Statues, frozen until you pay up, and always silent, for which we're thankful. First Friday in June featured two young violinists staking out the ATM, and a full acoustic swing band rocking the Plaza.
Rules enacted this year allow playing music for spare change in Lithia Park, so look for the cello player and others on the pathways. Remember, No Dogs, and No Drums!
