the world's smallest violin

violins are big on the street these days.  i may be wrong, those may be cellos.  saw this one nice young guy setting up by the movie theater, a little too far from the atm, and then again, heading for the empty fountain. wished him luck. violin, a music stand, a young artiste!
   other wacky instruments are on the loose as well, and thank goodness it's not the bagpipes, not that i have anything against the bagpipes, in their place, which is very far away! sorry, that's rude, and way too  close to rascist, (substitute any other word for bagpipe). i like the guy who, when i apologized for shouting in his ear, said 'that's alright, i like all music.' substitute everybody for music, and you see what i mean.
   the accordian is the instrument i'm referring to, and i know that's really not much better than the bagpipe, and the same jokes apply, but see above.  this accordian player, a young woman accompanied by a young man playing a boringly prosaic instrument, a guitar, of all the worn out things (see above) but he was playing it screaming pretty wierd to make up for that, and she was playing that tortured eastern european danz macabre her instrument is made for.  viva la differance!
