Please check out my Sustainability Column this month (March on newstands outside Greenleaf on the Plaza and inside Senor Sam's among other places) in the Sneak Previews. The title is "It's Elemental" - where i talk about many new and local green businesses by the categories of Earth, Air, Wind and Fire. What I'd like to see next is a group that focuses on export of our wonderful regional technologies and products to China, and all over the globe. People everywhere still love America and know we have some pretty good ideas and things to share. Why not focus on the trade imbalance and deficit by increasing exports by creating a Rogue Valley Marketing Group and strategic plan to sell abroad. This could help us break out of our limited and rather "stuck" financial circumstances and bring revenue directly to the Valley and help our entrepreneurs hire more local workers.
