I LOVE the newspaper racks framing the stage area. Whoever thought of that is clearly a genius. I can also see the company has no intention of investing this idea, which leaves the staging rudimentary. Nevertheless, the enthusiasm and never-say-die attitude of the producers of this commodity have continued to bring creativity and broad ranges of talented musicians to the newsroom.
Someday, this effort will receive the recognition it deserves.
And by the way, LOVE the toy piano-playing band member. That took me surprise. What fun!
Nice-sounding band too. Keep on highlighting the hidden talent in the Tidings Cafe!

The video list of Tidings Cafe performances was becoming a bit unwieldy, so I shortened it to include just the latest TC performance and put the other videos in the discussion forum of the TC group. Enjoy!

Thanks for the reminder Mandy! I've posted the Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey performance at the Tidings Cafe. And you're right, it was an excellent performance (and I'm not even a jazz fan).

I don't know if it's ok to post this here but I'll take my chances:
I'll be performing at 4 Daughters in Medford tonight with some amazing players: Jeff Pevar, Cornflower and Greg Frederick of the Rogue Suspects. We'll be doing acoustic versions of various songs I've written for TV and others from my old band GiftHorse's 2000 release "Excess, Lie's And Heather's Arrest". Come on down if you can!

New videos at the Tidings Cafe! (Apologies for my tardiness in posting these.)
Check out bonus tracks from TC performers Humble Soul, Marko and The State of Jefferson.
Ashland family band Tamdrin performs "The Daimler Days Are Over." This group features Ashland High School student Marlowe Harrison playing guitar.
And we have a video of "rock 'n' roll with country soul" band Sugarwall, currently based out of LA, performing "Video Star."

The Tidings Cafe video of Marko performing with Humble Soul of Hawaii has been up for awhile now. Today I just added Humble Soul's solo performance at the Tidings Cafe. The roots reggae band from Hawaii played a song they recently wrote, "Island Woman."

Looking forward to watching the Markos Photinos video that was shot on Aug. 12 at the Tidings Cafe. I'm excited about the Tidings and DenizenTV collaborative efforts in video. I love it when a plan comes together. Go team!
