Mandy, re your message: "Anybody got any Mandy on the Street ideas? I've got some pretty wild ideas, but I'm hoping I won't have to resort to sensationalism!"

Thank you. I did the same. I didn't get to speak to nearly as many people as I had hoped. I wanted to tell you that I very much enjoyed your poem. Had also hoped to catch the young gal who read about the sweater. Tell me more about your work. Do you belong to a critique/workshopping group, or would you be interested in one? If I don't find one, I'm thinking about starting something.
Oh, Leo is now a maniacal poet. He brought his poem to school for sharing time. He has asked me to make " a hundred" copies to give to people, and is planning his own solo reading. He says it will be "maybe at the library, maybe at Mix so we can have ice cream, too."
