The "Ashland Resource Center" has invited you and other key people, organizations and businesses in the local community to become members at no cost to you except a little time to learn how to set-up your "MyPage" profile.
This is an online forum and portal for people to communicate and exchange ideas and build projects locally. This social network has actual face-to-face gatherings in addition to the on-line network. The purpose of the resource center is the sharing of information about activities in our area and keeping a comprehensive inventory of local resources, people, projects, businesses and organizations.
Additionally we run a small news/media organization that emphasizes sustainability and community values featuring user-generated content (e.g., blogs, videos, photos, music, events) selected from the Internet. This local resource center is a model for other communities and we're planning to launch other resource centers regionally and globally.
