how about pub talks? ScienceWorks supplies the scientist and topic, a pub supplies access to drinks so that the info goes down all the more smoothly?

So is it the alcohol keeping it safe or something else? If so, add limoncello to the list of things to drink while traveling:) I wonder, what other foods/drinks are as safe as wine? Honey does pretty well, no?
