For music lovers of all ages, this group is dedicated to those fans of the Tidings Cafe mini concerts held in our newsroom. We even invite members to join us for live performances!
You mean the former home of Harry Houdini... :)
My schedule is fairly clear except on Fridays. I will be running sound for the "Central Point summer concert series" and Southern Oregon Songwriters Association concert series until September.
It's all at Pfaff park in Central Point every Friday at 6:00.
I recently bought an HPD-10 and HPD-15 electronic handrum by Roland. I now have just about every type of percussion instrument at my disposal.
My focus on music lately is synthy electronic stuff with a bit of world beat thrown in.
For blues I just whip out the ol' snare drum and brushes.
Weekends are good for me.
Martygras out.
I'm flattered that people are starting to notice our coverage of the music scene.
Welcome back to Southern Oregon!
Keep us posted on your progress as you get back into the swing of things and in the mean time, spread the word about the new-found love for music in the local media.

I need to get out and play some drums. Let me know if you have some jammin' time soon.
